Michael, Director and Lead Advisor of MPM has been practising since June 2011, qualifying with a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) in August 2013. Previously a professional Rugby Player for clubs such as Ospreys and London Welsh, Michael sought a career in mortgages due to an interest in rental properties, building a personal portfolio over the last 22 years. Michael supports the team of advisors and administrators to provide each client with a professional yet friendly service. Over the past 10 years Michael has used his sporting background to build relationships with many high-profile sports personalities both in the U.K. and overseas, creating an international client base.
Chris Gambarini
Mortgage & Protection Advisor
In 2017 Chris decided to leave the Police Service after 17 years’ service. He had always been interested in Financial Services and felt that the time was right to change direction with his career. He gained his CeMAP qualification and began working with Mike immediately. Chris has transferred his victim lead approach that he developed in the Police to a customer lead approach providing high quality, professional independent mortgage and protection advice. An avid sportsman, Chris is a WRU Level 2 Rugby Coach and enjoys coaching his son’s rugby team in his spare time.
Rich Barnett
Mortgage & Protection Advisor
After 8 years of working with children and young people across multiple settings, Richard packed his bags and spent some time travelling with his partner. When they came home, he put himself through his CeMAP qualification and began a role in specialist mortgage advice, before finally joining the team as a Mortgage Protection Advisor in October 2021.

Victoria Williams
Administration Assistant
Victoria has worked with Michael since February 2018. She joined Mike Powell Mortgages in order to allow the business to meet the demand and enable the business to grow, supporting Michael with the administrative side of the business. She now supports the 3 advisors with all aspects of mortgage and insurance administration and the day-to-day running of the office.

Donna joined Mike Powell Mortgages in March 2019 to further support the team with mortgage and protection administration. Donna offers outstanding customer service and is always willing to offer help to all our clients.
